Geraldton is a coastal city located in Yamatji country, approximately 425 km north of Perth. The urban centre of Geraldton hosts a diverse range of cafes and bars, galleries and other attractions, including the “ Merry-Go-Round in the Sea”, made famous in Randolph Stow’s novel of the same name.

The Port of Geraldton is a major seaport while the wider City of Greater Geraldton embraces the towns of Mullewa and Walkaway, as well as large rural areas.
