Planet has a long and celebrated history on Beaufort Street. In December 1990, Planet Video first opened the doors on the corner of Beaufort and Walcott. A few years later, in ’96, Planet added music and film sales to its selection. Planet Books was the latest edition, coming in 2006, heralding a boom in independent bookstores in Perth. We are proud to provide our customers with rare and unusual titles, yet still stocking the latest bestsellers. Whilst the film and music (For now) sections are gone, they are not forgotten with our film and music book sections being the best in Western Australia.
We carry Perth’s best range of books, cards, gifts, games, posters and stationary. Whenever you come in, the hardest thing to do is leave.
